Today guest posts are wrapping up with some fun & fruity inspiration from Naomi of Enchanted Dream Weddings! A huge thank you to all of the lovely ladies who shared inspiration while I was away:)
With the summer months in full swing why not take advantage of it in its fullest and include sweet summer fruits into your wedding day feast? Instead of passing hors d’oeuvres why not serve fresh fruit canapés with fruit from your local growers? Or why not integrate them into wedding centerpiece décor. Eating fruit is like taking a little of the sunshine inside.

Today I have some decor ideas for you, inspired by Mexico. Bright colors, mixed textures, and some fun cultural nods make for a fantastic fiesta!!!
How about a private sweetheart table on the beach at dusk? Serape blankets as aisle or table runners, maracas and sombreros as favors or photo booth props, papel picado draped across the room, a bright and textural bouquet, a bold hand painted cake, or layers of pink fringe to stand under as you say your I do’s? Love it all!
Who doesn’t love a tequila bar? This lighted Hola sign is simply adorable, and I adore this floral garland and ribbon chair decor.
I spotted these bottled favor/gift ideas over on Matt Bites the other day, and I just love them!
Simple syrups, perfectly packaged. I think these would make a fantastic hostess gift, or something fun to take along to a bridal shower! Cocktails, anyone?
These little bottles of limoncello look so delicious and refreshing! Whip up a favorite drink, put it in some pretty bottles, and give them out as wedding favors or gifts. I think making some apple cider, or mulled wine and packaging it like this could be a great Christmas present or winter wedding favor!
All it took was some bottles, some labels, and a little creativity! Head on over to Matt Bites to learn more:)
With so many beautiful flowers out there, it’s hard to choose a favorite, but if I HAD to, dahlias would be at the top of my list. From the cafe au lait dinner plate dahlia, to the stunning black dahlia (both of which were used in my wedding!), to playful little pom pom dahlias- I love them all!
Happy Friday, everyone! The weekend has almost arrived, so I wanted to leave you with a little something fun. Summer will be here before we know it, and for some reason whenever I think summer, I think gingham! While I love the classic Americana take on gingham in navy blues, whites and reds, my favorite kind of gingham is a mix of it in all the colors of the rainbow. A colorful gingham explosion! It makes me think of picnics in the park, running through the sprinklers, lemonade under a beach umbrella, icy fruit popsicles, and frolicking in the pool, among other things.
A colorful gingham wedding, or party of any sort would be so cute! If you have one, pretty, pretty please invite me.
