A Chic Yellow + Navy Wedding...

I love, love, love Alison and John's wedding! It was shot beautifully by Altmix Photography, who captured each and every incredible detail. My number one favorite detail has to be the amazing yellow tulip chandelier that was suspended above the ceremony altar. It's beautiful and so unique! What a great alternative to a floral arch.

More from the bride, Alison:

For our venue, we were looking for something large and indoors. We were getting about 250 as our guest count and we did not want to deal with rain. Summerour is an architectural firm with a lot of character, and they lease out the space on the weekends for events.

We used the lace to wrap around all the bouquets.

The ring pillow was made by a bridesmaid, Erin. The lace on it was from my mother's wedding dress. The programs we used a hole punch in the corner of some fold over cards, and stamped the first page with the first letter of John's name. We tied a navy ribbon through the side and my mom printed the inside on her printer.

Our centerpieces were vases filled with water with blueberries in the bottom and floating votives in the top. Juli also placed yellow flowers around the bases. She did glass bottles with yellow flowers and little puddles of yellow rose petals down the center of the farm tables.

Our cake was amazing. The top layer was vanilla with white chocolate and grand marnier mousse, second was mocha cake with baileys mousse, third layer (my fave) was lemon cake with lemon mousse and the bottom was chocolate cake with chocolate truffle mousse.
