This lovely shoot was pulled together when Jodi of J. Anne Photography wanted to get some images for promotional products she was creating for her business. Living in Las Vegas, she wanted to create the feel of a romantic and ethereal desert wedding, with a little bit of glam. Some great fellow Vegas vendors came together at the last minute to help her pull it off! The model is even a future bride of Jodi’s. Ch, ch, ch, check it out!

When I read the story behind this love session, it made me happy and sad in equal measure. Josh + Aiyana have been married for 13 years. (happy) . Their wedding photos were a complete disaster and they don’t have one framed wedding photo in their home. (sad) . They wanted a chance to capture their love in photo form all these years later, and Meg Takes Photos killed it! This wasn’t only a chance to get some beautiful pictures to replace those bad wedding photos though- now Josh + Aiyana have 3 adorable children, and they wanted to capture their entire family. Which by the way, has to be one of the cutest little families I ever did see! The mother/daughter, father/son matching shoes kill me!

Jazz and Anders met on an avocado farm, so where else could they possibly shoot their engagement session but a farm?! This quirky couple play in a band together, Sadie + The Blue Eyed Devils, so they wanted to incorporate their love of music and instruments into the session. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!!! I have a fun + festive shoot to share with you today that was inspired by a modern take on a Valentine’s Day wedding. I love, love, love, the vinyl lip decals on the dance floor. How fun are they!? Such a great temporary way to customize the dance floor for your big day. And that mylar heart balloon bouquet- too adorable! This shoot was sent over by the designer and florist, Ashley Garrett of Life in the Sunset. It took place at Graffiti Cafe in LA, and was captured by Christin Rose Photography!
